Pre-release Results

Guildpact is going to be lots of fun to play. My address bar is constantly being filled with wizards.com/magic to check for the latest articles on the new set as I eagerly await the release date. Many packs will likely be purchased the day it comes out, and boxes may soon enter the picture again. With Laura’s approval of course.

Steve and I really didn’t place well. I finished in 37th place, only ahead of Steve because my first opponent, Chris Miller, was mana screwed the first game. He went on to finish 3rd. My second opponent, Kennith Hartje, didn’t let me put up a fight, and he wound up in 22nd place.  Though I didn’t do very well, I do like the format.  I’m thinking about getting some of the Magic players together for a little sealed deck action.

Before this entry is through, I must tip my hat at Tim, the Dillons deli employee who knows both the difference between Wing-dings and Wing-zings, and how to make a mean ham and cheese. You sir, are my new inside guy at the supermarket.

New Site Design

The old home page was lacking.  This is hopefully easy on the eyes, and easy to navigate.  Hopefully over the next few weeks, other pages in this grand web of connected sites will transition into the scary new world of css.  I haven’t messed with it much, and the tinkering done with this page is very little, but with time I might be able to make a css marquee scroll across the page.  Then we will know we have made it.
