It has been nearly a month since the last update to the main page, mainly because I’ve been working on other pages for your viewing pleasure. CM stories are being updated to the new look, a Magic page has been created, and hopefully an RSS feed will be functional for your Feed Reading pleasure.
In the past month, we have looked at houses, put in an offer, received counter-offers, and placed a few counter-offers ourselves. An offer has been submitted on another house in Olathe; hopefully all goes well.
Over the past weekend Magic Night #2 took place, with Rodney, Matt, Steve, and Sven joining me in a game of Type 4, a first for all involved. For the most part, it went smoothly. I don’t know if I like it better than normal Magic, it was different. Next time, drafting will be revised as to not take half the night away from us. Rodney won the day, having the only combo amongst the group. Some cards will need to be replaced, and before we play again, new cards will probably need to be purchased and added in. The next event will likely be the Dissension pre-release tourney, likely followed by some sort of sealed deck event, possibly involving preconstructed decks.
Magic Night was preceded by a meal at First Watch with Liz and Laura, and a walk to Rosana Square. It’s still one of the best routes to walk I have found, featuring perfect distance, hilly terrain, and many places to visit at the destination. One of my goals was to take pictures of the Rosana shops for the upcoming Rosana Square page which will soon be featured on the right. This was accomplished, and a picture of the IRS 9-11 memorial was taken. I’ll let you be the judge as to what all the memorial entailed. Much CM goodness was developed on the walk, so expect a new story to appear in the next few weeks, and another one shortly thereafter.

huzzah on all counts
