Santa has passed by once again and delivered enough goodies under the tree to keep us busy until a few weeks after a certain someone does or does not see his shadow. Christmas day though, I was completely caught off guard when my mom asked to play the Wii, she didn’t warm up with Wii Sports either. No, she jumped right in to an Excite Truck race and kept the truck on the road very well while racking up the stars.
Setting up Connect24 was a headache though, for no reason other than Nintendo must have set something up incorrectly. After setting up the connection with WEP encryption I was able to test fine, but when trying to agree to the Connect24 license, the console couldn’t find the internet and gave an error code 220602. With much griping and unfruitful internet searches I gave up and went to bed. This morning though, I found my answer in a forum I can’t find now. For some reason, WEP must be disabled temporarily to get to the agreement, then can be turned back on. Everything works perfectly now with WEP back on.
On the Condiment Man front, not much progress has been made in the past few days, so the next story isn’t going to be out for a bit. Hopefully I can get the final few pages written at lunch this week and make it available shortly thereafter.
My final day of work has been completed today, now I will pour any free time I find into the new Condiment Man story. The story has hit the four page mark and still shows no sign of slowing down. While my goal is to have this thing ready by Christmas, my time is running short and I have much to do.
Another Condiment Man story is in motion. Its completion date hasn’t yet been set, but you should expect it within the next few weeks. Hopefully by Christmas. To give you something while you wait for the new adventure, it will start soon after New World and will make some people angry. Use the meantime to find yourself a seat.

The G-Town Wal-Mart was to have 14 Wii’s. There would be 14 chairs set up in Lawn and Garden, if you had a chair, you had a Wii.
I arrived at 10:00pm, which made me 4th in line. A girl was first, arriving at 7:30pm and purchasing for her husband. Second was a McDonald’s employee arriving around 9. Third was a talkative cop who also arrived around 9.
The girl slept the majority of the night, as did McDonald’s guy, though he snored more. The cop and I talked the majority of the night while staring at bags of charcoal, even though I was armed with 10 hours of podcasts, a DS, laptop, and writing materials. The laptop and writing materials were not used.
After much waiting, wandering the store, and turning away those who arrived after 3:30 (when #14 arrived). Most people were pretty cool about it, though you could tell they thought we were crazy to arrive so early.
Checked out at 8:13am without a second remote. Time to eat and sleep before orientation at noon.

I’m trying for a Wii tonight. Wish me luck.
