The G-Town Wal-Mart was to have 14 Wii’s. There would be 14 chairs set up in Lawn and Garden, if you had a chair, you had a Wii.
I arrived at 10:00pm, which made me 4th in line. A girl was first, arriving at 7:30pm and purchasing for her husband. Second was a McDonald’s employee arriving around 9. Third was a talkative cop who also arrived around 9.
The girl slept the majority of the night, as did McDonald’s guy, though he snored more. The cop and I talked the majority of the night while staring at bags of charcoal, even though I was armed with 10 hours of podcasts, a DS, laptop, and writing materials. The laptop and writing materials were not used.
After much waiting, wandering the store, and turning away those who arrived after 3:30 (when #14 arrived). Most people were pretty cool about it, though you could tell they thought we were crazy to arrive so early.
Checked out at 8:13am without a second remote. Time to eat and sleep before orientation at noon.

congratulations
i do wonder why they waited until when they did to let you purchase them
was it as soon as they arrived?
you did get to ‘camp’ for yours, no?
what did you do on the DS?
It didn’t look like the computer would allow them to sell the units until 8. I really wish we could have gotten tickets when we all arrived and were sent on our way. The card game on New Mario was mainly played on the DS.
