The Future!

The Future Sight pre-release happened last week. I beat a girl playing one of her first Magic matches, lost to a serious guy, beat someone who was somehow involved in the event, and lost to Steve. Packs were split, and we had a good day. I ran a black/red deck heavy in creature elimination, light on creatures. When it worked, it worked well. The complete list of what I included can be found on the slightly revamped Magic page.

My MBA program has been shortened by 4 credit hours, so we only need 48 credits to graduate.  I’m torn, as I already had plans for those credits.  Now I’ll have to rethink my areas of concentration and my elective choices.  There are so many classes I’d love to take, but the time in which to take them is far too short.

10 Things I Learned From Critical Mass

Critical Mass is a Treat Williams movie, in which a terrorist group is attempting to detonate a nuclear power plant.

1. The higher you are in government, the less you are able to do.

2. Treat vs. terrorists? Treat.

3. Women will watch themselves be crushed by a closing door, unless pulled out of the way.

4. If you’re a soul survivor, it is next to impossible to find a job.

5. If you always lose games of chance, keep playing. In the end, you’ll win big.

6. By removing your belt, you can be saved from falling off a cliff.

7. Bullets fired from a gun held by a woman are not lethal.

8. Treat Williams rocks at escort missions.

9. If Treat puts a tie in your mouth, it stays there until someone takes it out.

10. Not even Treat Williams can out-think Treat Williams.
