Noooooo!!

It is with great sadness I must report we have lost one of the great eating establishments in the Rosana Square shopping center. Leaving work today, my plan was to head over to Rosana and stop in for a little Marrakesh Cafe buffet then take a few pictures of the Square while taking some notes for the soon to be fleshed out site. It turns out my plan was destined to fail, no matter how prosperous their newly updated website would make you believe. Normally I love stopping in at KenTacoHut for a quick burrito while watching CNN on the big screens, but today I couldn’t bring myself to enjoy the moment, knowing such a great restaurant has closed its doors and pulled down its new orange sign.

Marrakesh Cafe will live on in our hearts, and our memories. Let us look back now, and remember the good times.

Laura had seen sticks accumulating in the corner of our deck for the past while, and we didn’t really know what to make of it. We assumed that since birds like to hang out on the deck railing, they might be holding sticks to make nests, and when Chester scares them they drop the stick and fly away. Well, that turns out not to be the case.
