In under a month, I finished Positioning. Bizarre how quickly I conquered that one. I found it pretty interesting as it was the first major work on positioning theory, and I’m coming around to their opposition to line extension. It took a few days of contemplation, but I can see why Diet Pepsi should have been given an non-Pepsi name.
I’ve moved on to Freakonomics, which will be followed by No Contest and Fahrenheit 451, and apparently I’m the only one who hasn’t read it. All three of them will head with me on my trip to France, and I’ll see if two of them can be finished between the voyages there and back, and the long train rides between Clermont Ferrand and Nimes.
If all goes according to plan, I’ll post pictures from the France adventure nightly on AOL Pictures. Who knows, there might even be a blog entry or two!
