So the past few days have been pretty busy with school going on. I haven’t taken many pictures, though I should have some from the cigarette factory we’re touring this afternoon. Classes have been meh, but the experience around it has been fantastic. Interacting with people from all over the world has been enlightening, and touring French companies has provided a wonderful learning experience. Today, we are in groups writing a paper on how the companies we have visited market internationally. Tomorrow we give a presentation over one of the companies, then we’re done! Most of the KU students are heading back up to Paris or to Lyon, but I’ll be giving Clermont-Ferrand the benefit of my presence for another two days before coming home on Monday morning.
Update: The cigarette trip was canceled when the bus was late. Not just France late, really late. Instead, we toured the city and checked out different kinds of cheese. We all got free samples of some wonderful, 14 month old stuff.
By the way, in France, both Coke and Pepsi are flavored differently, so don’t expect a taste of home with them. Coke has a diety flavor, while Pepsi is just odd.

Any pictures of the 14 month old cheese?
Do the cans for the beverages look different?
Are the cans metric?
