Yup, it is true! Josh and I will be having a baby at the end of June. According to our doctor my due date is June 22, 2010. We are both very excited and nervous at the same time. Right now I am 9 weeks along. My plan is to post some news weekly about what is going on and the progress of the baby. My next doctors appointment is Dec. 9. We will get to hear the baby’s heartbeat then!
Some stuff since we found out…
I actually took the pregnancy test on my birthday! What a wonderful gift! I had an in-service at school that day and it was hard to focus on what we were supposed to be doing since I had just taken the test. At this point I was more worried about how I would keep a secret from my sisters and mom until we went to the doctors to confirm everything.
The first doctors appointment was on Oct. 26th. We filled out a lot of paperwork and learned about a bunch of crazy tests that could be performed to see if the baby would have different disabilities. That really brought us back to reality. Of course since I was only right at 6 weeks along we couldn’t see a heartbeat but we did get a sonogram picture of the sac that the baby will live in for the time being.

We went back to the doctors on Nov. 11 to see the heartbeat. Wow! What an amazing sight to see! I know we will be seeing many of these in the future.

Bobby and I are so excited to be an Aunt and Uncle again. Bobby is most excited to have another kid to run around with screaming at the top of his lungs (inside the house of course). I can’t wait to see all the updates and pictures. Love, Liz & Bobby.
Ok…well of course we, as the sisters are very excited and can hardly wait until the time comes to PURCHASE ITEMS!!!! I am sooo excited for you both and can hardly wait!!!
